What would I create? oh dear! I can't possibly decide what I would make so quickly! But I do know that one of my daughters would love to have your Cloche Hat. Am considering making that for her Christmas present.

With the Meadowlark coasters are you supposed to start with a magic circle or chain ring before doing the 1dc2tog in round 1? I can't work out how you get 6 stitches after round 1. If you follow the instructions you have to be working in the chain but cannot correctly do the 2dctog. My first round looks nothing like the photo, I can't get past the first stitch. Thank you in advance

I love this pattern and this is what I figured out. Start with a chain 6, then connect with a slip stitch to make a circle. Then continue with round 1: ch2. *1 dc2tog in same first stitch (not 2 stitches), ch2. *repeat this for the next 5st. Sl st to top of first ch2 and finish off. This worked for me. Olivia if this is not correct, I apologize and please correct me.

Amazing coasters. However round 1 instructions are not correct and not usable. Please let me know how to do this? Begin with chain of 6 or magic loop?
