Strawberry Eclair Cloche Hat – Giveaway + Crochet Pattern
Digging through your yarn stash can be quite rewarding at times. Whenever I have a burst of creativity I always go on a hunt throughout my many skeins of yarn before I resort to going out and buying anything new (it’s a pretty good, and useful habit!).
A few weeks ago I had a a mini brain storming session about future designs I would love to work on, and one of those designs turned out to be this adorable Strawberry Eclair Cloche Hat.
I love vintage fashion, so once I had the idea for this cloche hat I knew I had to find the perfect cotton yarn that would capture the essence of the flapper era. As I rummaged through dozens of different cotton yarns, I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon a handful of leftover Shiny Happy Cotton skeins that Wool And The Gang had sent me a couple of months ago.
I immediately set to work, and it wasn’t long before this cloche hat started to take shape.
If you’re in need of an adorable and equally quirky hat this Autumn, it’s your lucky day as I’ve just added the pattern for this cloche hat to my Craftsy and Etsy Shop!

I love vintage as it reminds me of growing up in the 50's and 60's – yes I am old!
Thank you so much for the opportunity.
I like Vintage because I love pastel colors, and the 20s and 30s marked the beginning of fashion with character.
I love vintage because it marked a time in history where creativity was thriving and colors were beautiful. Plus, its pretty timeless!
Most vintage patterns are so elegant and never get old 🙂
Beautiful work as always! I LOVE the fact that you tell what is needed for the project so I can see it before I buy the pattern! Thank you!
What a cute pattern just in time for gift giving :0)
Thank you for all of your wonderful and beautiful patterns that you create. I love vintage creations because of the beautiful look they remind me of my mom when she was younger, when she met my dad in the 40's she was so beautiful! This hat and your cloche hat are so gorgeous.
You always have such cute, vintage designs. Thank you!
I love vintage styles because of their softness and innocence.
I love the fashions from era's gone by. I love the hats, dresses, wish we still dressed like that today
I love vintage crochet items because I love recreating retro styles! Helps me stay creative 🙂
Love this hat!
This is my favorite pattern from your collection. When I hear the word vintage I imagine lace, silks, flowing lines of the gown, soft muted colors, beautiful hats, flowers made of silk, and hand crocheted gloves made of fine thread. I love that you are preserving and sharing the styles and designs of the past.
Vintage items remind me of my late grandmother, who was a very well put together woman & very crafty in her own right.

Love everything vintage….love those romantic bygone days….love your patterns too x
I love vintage items because it's like having a piece of history or traveling back in time! I think it would've been fun to be a flapper dancer from the 1920s! Love those hats, headbands and dresses!
Vintage clothing styles, such as your sweet hat, are great reminders of how much fun the 20's must have been. Glad to see some of these items coming back.
This hat is really cute. I would love to win the pattern for it. I love vintage patterns because the style was unique and sophisticated.

Olivia, I am currently making this hat and having trouble understanding Row 8 on the adult hat. Do you have any video to show the dc4tog? I love the hat and so want to finish it. Any help would be appreciated. I don't know how to explain exactly what I do not understand. Does that make sense?
