One of the best things about having a little girl is being able to crochet the sweetest little hats, sweaters and booties, which (if you’re being 100% honest) you kinda secretly wish was socially acceptable for you to wear too!

Being inspired by all the little ladies in our lives, I decided to design these adorable booties you see above… and I love how I was able to incorporate a bit of vintage charm into them as well!

If after crocheting these tiny shoes you’re excited to crochet even more baby accessories, I’d suggest trying your hand at my Princess Charlotte baby booties or even my Mary Jane rosebud booties pattern!

I always find little vintage shoes to be extremely adorable, so when I discovered these Double Strapped Baby Mary Janes over at AllFreeCrochet, it was love at first sight!

Hope you all enjoyed the pattern for these feminine little booties!
If you did crochet this, please post a photo of your creation onto my Facebook Page.
I’d love to see it!
Have a lovely day crocheting,

I adore your patterns, and would love to know where you got your crochet hooks. Are they made of wood?

the crochet hooks that look like wood are made out of bamboo. you can get them at almost any store that has yarn and needles and hooks or on line.

Not sure about directions for the last row. 20th stitch doesn't seem right.

What would be a good yarn substitute for what you used? I do not have the kind you reference available in my area. Btw….these are absolutely adorable!!!

On round 4 your directions the last line states”Do not sl st in 1st sc of this round. (39 [43] sts)
After ripping out, recounting, ripping out again there is 40 sts which throws your next round off and one has to compensate. Is it possible you have an error in these instructions? Please respond as it leaves me in quandary as to where I am supposed to correct this on following end.

Oops forgot another note on this pattern. On rnd 4 “Start crocheting in 1st st from previous rnd. 1 sc in next 14 [16] sts. * 1 sc2tog, 1 sc in next st. Repeat from the * 6 times. 1sc in next 13[15]sts”
There are 14 sts remaining. Please respond to previous and this comment. PLEASE

Question on this pattern: Could there possibly be a mistake on Round 3? I have repeatedly crocheted this round as instructed, but every time I end up with 50 stitches, not 46. The round before (round 2) is correct at 36 stitches. What could I be doing wrong?
