A hazy mist lazily sleeping along the water’s edge brings a sense of serenity and tranquility to anyone who wanders by. Shield yourself from the brisk winter weather with the Coastal Fog Chunky Cardigan, perfect for layering over any outfit as you enjoy an evening stroll along the beach. From the boxy silhouette to the simplicity of the design, this snuggly cardigan is a quick weekend pattern that is sure to become a wardrobe staple.

As the snow and fog appears, and the weather rapidly turns cooler, having a cosy and beautifully textured cardigan on hand would not only be practical, but also enjoyable to wear. While the textured stitch pattern creates a chic and stylish piece, the over-sized cosiness adds a touch of warmth to your cool shoulders as you embrace the beauty and vastness of the ocean.

Hi! I am making this cardigan and, while I tested for gauge, I think the back is looking like it’s going to be too small/not 26.5 inches… it’s about 24.5 without being blocked yet but only 12 inches in length for 21 rows… There do not appear to be any notations on the pattern about the lengths and widths of the various pieces. Can you provide that information, please?

I bought the kit from Lyonbrand but the pictures are not very clear…may you send me just the for the camel single crochet?
I will say that I’m disappointed in the quality off the yarn…it’s almost completely sintetic…I was dreaming off a soft wool since it’s not cheap at all…
But I’m trilled to try your beautiful pattern

This is a fantastic and comfortable cardigan wear. Looks bulky but a great wear.

I love the look of this cardigan! Before I buy it I am wondering if there is an easy way to increase the size. I am a consistent XL girl and I want to be sure this could be easily adjusted. Thank you!

I’ve purchased the pattern and would love to have a quick tutorial on getting the pattern started. Have you thought about creating an exclusive YouTube video to help those anxious about starting the cardigan?

Beautiful sweater! I am planning on making this for my sister for Christmas! It will be my first attempt at a clothing piece!
I am wondering what size you made in these pictures? My sister is a size small but would like it to be oversized like yours. So I’m not sure if the size small is oversized enough fornif I should plan on making the larger one. Any advice?
