Home Decoration in Crochet

Every maker has a handful of favourite Instagram feeds to scroll through after a long day, eager to soak up some extra creativity before tackling a new design! Tanya from Little Things Blogged is one of those especially talented crocheters, always sharing amazing snaps of what’s currently on her hook (or clicking on her knitting needles – did I mention she’s also a wonderful knitter?).

Recently Tanya was lovely enough to send me my very own exclusive copy of her first ever published book, “Home Decoration in Crochet” – A colorful book overflowing with 25 of the cutest designs! Just another excuse to grab my hooks and pop on an episode of Downton Abbey for an afternoon of crochet.

With tons of quirky projects to pick from, I finally landed on the “Granny Glass Jar Cover” as my first venture. Drawn to their simplicity and soothing, repetitive steps, I was also pleasantly surprised how easily adaptable the pattern was to my jar size (a recycled jar which originally held peaches in syrup). My hooks have found a lovely new home inside of this jar cozy, ready to be used for the next pattern from Tanya’s book I try my hand at!

If you’d like your own copy of this great crochet book you can pre-order it on Amazon right now over HERE… Now to go and pester my neighbours for their spare jars so I can make dozens of these cuties for my home – Or even a fun, outdoor summer party!

Be sure to use the tag #hopefulhoneyhive on Instagram to show me your latest project!
Have a lovely day crocheting…
