Woodrose Fringe Scarf – Crochet Pattern + Giveaway

March 12, 2017 Category: Cowls + Scarves / Crochet / Patterns

Chunky, oversized, cosy… This Woodrose Fringe Scarf is the ultimate winter wardrobe staple, radiating with sophistication whether it’s worn with a loose tee and jeans, or paired with a stylish coat and some high heel boots.

By using my one of my jumbo crochet hooks, this scarf worked up in no time at all and helped to create a light, airy and lovely flexible feel!

It was extremely easy when it came to choosing the perfect wool to use for this design, as over the last few months I’ve fallen in love with We Are Knitters plushy “The Wool“, as it comes straight from the Peruvian Andes and is very soft to the touch… Doesn’t that texture look like the most perfect thing to snuggle in this Winter?

Loosely draped or knotted up for chillier situations, this cosy scarf will keep you extra warm and toasty, yet still looking chic!

Love oversized accessories as much as I do? If so, it’s your lucky day as I’ve just added the pattern for this design to my Craftsy Shop and Etsy Shop!

You can find the pattern HERE!
Size:
Toddler to Adult
Materials:
15.00mm (P) Crochet Hook
275 – 325yds Super Chunky Yarn (14ply) – We Are Knitters The Wool

I love to use chunky yarn because it works up so fast compared to regular worsted yarn.

Working with chunky yarn is just so quick and easy to work with and the outcome of the different kind of stuff you can make out of are just so squishy and soft, plus it's so nice and warm for winter time!

I love the way the already textured crocheted fabric is magnified, to emphasize the direction and depth. It makes me crazy!
