How To: Crochet The Cluster Stitch - Easy Tutorial

The Cluster Stitch is one of the easiest stitches to learn, as the stitch basically just incorporates the Double Crochet technique, which means that cluster stitch only takes a tiny bit of practise to master!

Due to the fact that this is such a basic stitch you'd obviously assume it has a simple appearance/texture, which in a sense is true, but it's far from plain and actually rather quite a pretty stitch,
which makes it a great stitch to crochet blankets and scarves with!

If you'd like to learn how to create the "Cluster Stitch", this helpful video will guide you through all the steps as you continue on your ever-growing crochet journey!

What are some other crochet stitches you'd like to learn?
I'm always open to new ideas and inspiration when it comes to sharing
crochet with the world!

  10. I just love this stitch, but could you post a written pattern and tell us from the very beginning? How many chains do we need to do to start this blanket? The video you posted is helpful but I need to know the stitches prior to that point

    1. Hi - did you ever receive a reply about a written pattern? I had the same exact question as you did.

      Thanks - Jill Joseph

  12. This is just beautiful! I absolutely love this gorgeous stitch and your tutorial is fantastic. However, I'm a fairly new crocheter and I'm not sure how to begin. I tried a couple of times but ended up with a strangely puckered mess!
