Today I’m so excited to be sharing this super fun and easy holiday project for a crocheted Santa Claus pompom hat over at LoveCrochet! It works up in less than an hour (which is perfect during this extremely busy time of year), and would look adorable in all the holiday photos this season as baby celebrates his/her first Christmas!

So sweet. They didn't have patterns like this when my kids were that tiny. Just the old, usual standby that made all babies look alike.
We are about to meet our first granddaughter in a few weeks and I am so happy for your input. A good majority of the sweetest little things I have made have come from you. The baby shower was last weekend and I can not thank you enough for all the smiles and ooohs and aaahs!!!
Thank you so much for the pattern, however, I'm having a hard time deciphering the count. On rnd 3 there's 20 stitches at the end. Then rnds 4-8 have zero stitches added and at the end it says there's 56. I'm not sure how this came about. Can you explain where the error is?
