How To: Crochet The Grit Stitch

A couple of months ago I learned how to crochet the Grit Stitch  and it was love at first sight! It is such a nice take on the classic single crochet, and creates a really beautiful texture and design, perfect for blankets, scarves and practically any project you can think of!

    I've never seen the technique where you only use one "loop" of the initial foundation chain when coming back across to make your first row. I'm going to try this for sure!

      I agree with you at this point. I’ve just finished my first zipper pouch and I’m a bit excited.
      It’s a bit wobbly and I sewed a little too close to the zipper but… it works!!! more

    Thank you so so much for this tutorial. I watched the video twice before starting …watch twice, cut once.
    I’ve just finished my first zipper pouch and I’m a bit excited.
