Oh, goodness, I'm not sure that I could pick a favorite, per se…but I have been using a combination of Caron Simply Soft yarn with another off-brand yarn for an afghan project, and have been super pleased with the results. 🙂 Thanks so much for the chance to enter the giveaway, I'm super excited about it!

Where I live the choices are limited to what I find at Walmart unless I want to drive 1-12 hours or order on line. Mostly have to crochet with red heart. Red heart Love is what I would call my favorite out of my limited choices. I wish I had some type of cotton dk to try out. I have never used it before, but so many patterns use it. Sorry got a little wordy. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.

I have also made a few items with Bernat baby soft, which is so lovely to touch but not always easy to crochet. Scheepjes has some very nice yarns and have some in my stash. Lion Brand Cotton-Ease, but I'm sure I'll switch to Wendy Supreme if I win!

Choosing a favorite yarn is hard! Color!!! is probably what draws me to a yarn first followed closely by texture/type of yarn. I love acrylic and wool blends for winter projects, and cotton for summer projects, because it is so breathable!

I really don't have a favorite yarn. I tend to choose yarn based on color, fiber and texture in relation to the project I am doing. I love natural fibers and blends. Darlene P.

My favorite yarn is hobby Lobby i Love this Yarn because it is the closest store I have to buy yarn. It comes in enough colors and is soft. Price is right. It doesn't fall apart or pile up easy.

I don't know if I have a favorite yarn. I love trying new ones with each new project. My favorite so far may be Lion Brand Homespun or Thick and Quick. It's so soft for hats and scarves in winter.

I love 100% soft cotton because I make chemo hats for patients. The softness of the cotton is cooler on them and doesn't make their head itch. I learned this from my sister in law who is battling stage 4 cancer.

Hello, thanks for this great give away.

I love working mostly with natural fibres, including cotton, pure wool, linen, alpaca and more. It is hard to single out a favourite.

Currently I love working with a very fine cotton variegated yarn (Katia Jaipur) , it is great for very fine work such a lacy squares. (you can find them on my blog under #rusticlacesquare but also on my instagram and pinterest accounts).

I am always looking for new yarns to discover!!!

Pleased to have found your blog.

My favorite yarn is Thrift Shop yarn. There's not much better than spending less than $5 for a bag with 21 balls of cashmere blend yarn!

Crafter's Secret brand yarn is the best! It works out easily and doesn't cost a lot.
