If you’ve been a “Hopeful Honey” reader for a while now, you already know that I love all things vintage and am constantly working on new designs.
Yesterday I finally finished writing and testing a new crochet pattern for this lovely 1920’s Pearl Cloche Hat. I had this hat in my mind for awhile, and am so excited by how wonderfully it turned out.
You can easily customise this hat by simply adding more or less pearls, or even none at all! And since the hat also features such a lovely scalloped texture, it would look stunning in just about any colour, light or dark!
You can find the pattern HERE!

5.00mm Crochet Hook
150g Worsted Yarn [10ply] –  I used Drops Paris
Scissors
Tapestry/Wool Needle

I love creating projects and with each one learning something new. By new it could be in the technique or could be in what I have selected to make for a particular person, knowing what is just right for them. I also love that my projects can most often go along with me. And who can deny the joy in the selection of yarns, the different fibers and colors! Darlene P.

I love that crocheting allows my mind to focus only on the project at hand. I have PTSD from an attack in 2012, so am plagued with unwanted memories. Crocheting gives me much needed peace as I also am creating beautiful items! Your patterns are some of the ones that I have used most ♡

Crocheting is relaxing and gives me a way to create during our cold Kansas winters.

I love the feeling I get from making something from yarn. I also enjoy making gifts for my family and friends ( and their friends sometimes too, lol). It's amazing how much patience I have learned from crocheting. Jo Ann Hollenbeck
