Today I am beyond excited to share my first ever baby bootie pattern!
For months now I’ve been working on and off creating a pair that I’d be proud enough to share with all of you… Yes, I have to admit that I’m a bit of a perfectionist!

I also couldn’t resist putting a vintage twist on these booties, as I thought it added another layer of cuteness!

I'm just wondering, I'm always ending up with 49 stiches at the end of the sole of the shoe. I followed precisely…it happened on both soles…?? Help please!! Or does it even matter? I'm just starting out

I was having issues also. I think the repeats on the 3rd round are off. The first should be repeat once more instead of twice and instead of repeat 5 times, it should be 4. So there is a total of 5 iterations on the front and back of the sole.

I am having exactly the same problem with round 3, the repeats which I have followed meticulously always end in too many stitches. Please could someone please give me the correct stitch pattern. I have tried a few times & always end up with too many stitches, I am an experienced crocheted but would love clarity on row 3. Thank you x

My sole comes out to be about 6 inches in length. Is that correct? Seems huge for an infant. What could I have done wrong?
    Thank you

      Hello,
Your yarn weight might be slightly too heavy, or your gauge might be a lot looser than mine. My sole measured roughly 3.5 inches in length.

They are so sweet. I have troubles doing them as my daughters feet are already about 11,5 -12cm . Can you recommend how to deal with the difference?

Thank you sooo much for this pattern!

    Olivia,
I absolutely adore these, however my daughters feet are huge! I've worked the field mice and the sizing was perfect at 6-12m. Could you possibly publish the change with this pattern as well?
