Newborn Fairy Floss Pom Pom Hat Crochet Pattern
While crocheting with this yarn, I couldn’t help but think of a childhood full of carnivals and cotton candy.
The thrill of the rides, the taste of sugary snacks, not to mention the difficult decision about which games to spend your hard earned tickets on, in hope of winning a fluffy animal of some sort.

I think there’s something about a fair that brings out the inner child in us all!

Now make 2 Pom Poms using your yarn. I used a Pompom Maker, but if you don’t have one you can
easily make one using THIS video tutorial.
Taking your tapestry/wool needle, attach 1 pom pom to each top corner of your hat, making sure to space them out evenly.
Fasten off, and weave in loose ends.
Hope you all enjoyed this cozy little pattern!
If you did crochet this, please post a photo of your creation onto my Facebook Page.
I’d love to see it!
Have a lovely day crocheting,
What is the name of the yarn you used? This hat is so sweet.
Hello Lisa,
This is the yarn I used –> http://www.lincraft.com.au/lincraft-big-wool
Hope this helps!
What if i was using a super bulky yarn ? Would this work ?
In Round 1, you say to create 2 chains after the slip knot. Does that mean 2 chain stitches or 2 long chains of chain stitches? I'm getting tripped up on the 9 Double Crochets on the first chain. How does that work? What should it look like?
Of u read the whole round, you’ll…
ch2 (essentially a foundation round)
9 dc into the first ch you made
Sl st into second ch to complete round
Would you be able to add pictures of what this specific pattern should look like at each step?
What would be the ratio if I wanted to make this larger? I need it for a 9-12 mo size.
