Copacabana Espadrilles – Review + Giveaway
Wide-brimmed sun hats and the faint smell of sunscreen are a sure sign that summer is getting ready to make a grand entrance! Many of you may have heard by now that Australian summers are known for their stifling heat and humidity, making me especially grateful to live by the beach, as the cool sea breeze helps to ease the hot, lingering weather.
When I think of summer, cotton sundresses and and comfortable sandals come to mind. Espadrilles have been around for hundreds of years, but recently they have swiftly made their way into every casual yet fashionable outfit thanks to their chic and stylish design. Freshly updated, these modern sandals pair perfectly with anything and everything, making them a versatile piece that belongs in every summer wardrobe!
After I finished crocheting my “Wild Thing Rug” by Wool And The Gang a couple of months ago, I was excited to hear they were releasing a brand new design that sounded fun and intriguing! The Copacabana Espadrilles is an easy pattern that is great for beginners, including easy-to-follow steps, helping to make the learning process all the more fun and enjoyable.Made from upcycled t-shirt scraps, not only is this Mixtape Yarn yarn incredibly soft on your skin, it is equally soft on your conscience (and can we just take a moment to appreciate that incredible stitch definition!)
