Gingerbread Man Baby Booties – Free Crochet Pattern

Back when I was a tiny tot I would always end up covered in flour from head to toe as my family baked a bunch of Christmas gingerbread cookies!
This has been a tradition since I can’t remember when, so till this day I still get outrageously excited when I get to put on my apron, grab my cookie cutters out of the cupboard and bake an array of differently shaped cookies… I can’t wait for the day when I’ll be able to pass on this special memory to my own children (even if they make a catastrophic mess like I always did)!

Christmas is still a few weeks away, but I couldn’t wait any long to get my hands into some dough, which is why I’m planning to bake some cookies in a couple of days time!

In an attempt to behave and not start baking too early, I ended up quickly grabbing some Paintbox Yarn skeins in warm fudge tones and rosy reds out of my stash. But as you can see, my cookie obsession flowed over into my crochet which is how I came up with this darling (and scrumptious pair) of gingerbread man baby booties!

With the festive season in full swing, be sure to crochet some adorable Baubles or a sweet pair of Santa Claus Baby Booties!

As usual you have created a wonderful pattern. Take it from me some of the best memories you will have is when you bake holiday cookies and make candies with your children and the more flour on faces and floors the better. Have a wonderful Holiday and a wonderful New Year.
