Himalayan Mist Chunky Ribbed Scarf – Giveaway + Crochet Pattern

Years ago, (when I was still quite new on the crochet scene) I would never have guessed just how many beautiful stitches there are to learn! Since the beginning of my crochet journey I vowed to continue learning as many new stitches as possible, which has never ceased to inspire me to keep creating and designing!

A couple of weeks ago I had a “light bulb” moment and knew I had to design a scarf which would not only be extremely chunky and cosy to wear, but also resemble knitting. This moment of inspiration led to the creation of this Himalayan Mist Ribbed Scarf!
During Winter as the mist and snow appears, and the weather rapidly turns cooler, having a cosy and beautifully textured scarf on hand would not only be practical, but also enjoyable to wear! So for all the chunky yarn lovers out there, it’s your lucky day as I’ve just added the pattern for this scarf to my Craftsy and Etsy Shop!
Love chunky scarves as much as I do? Why not give this Wisteria Vine Scarf a whirl on your hook, or even try crocheting my Popcorn Tassel Scarf!

You can find the pattern HERE!

For winter, I love to crochet anything chunky! I'll make cowls, hats or fingerless gloves. I'm currently making a poncho with a super bulky yarn! I can't wait until it's done, hopefully i'll finish before spring if my newborn twins will go to sleep at the same time 🙂

In the last 3 years I've lost 140 lbs.; so, my very favorite Winter items to crochet are hats (you'r designs of course), cowls, and scarves–for some reason my upper body gets VERY COLD –who knew fat was such a good insulator ! Don't Miss it at all; but , love the hats, cowls, & scarves !!!
