150g Worsted Yarn {10ply} – I used Drops Paris, Light Old Pink

Hat Circumference – 22″ {56cm}

If you’d like the chance to win 1 of these 10 patterns, all you need to do is follow the prompts  in the rafflecopter widget below and you’ll be entered to win!

    I just finished dance, and one of them was the Charleston. So my favorite part about that era is the music, dances, and flapper girl's dresses.

    I love the 1920s because it was the time of some big changes and rebirth. WWI had just ended and people were looking to celebrate their being alive, rebuilding their cities, countries. People now treasured the importance of each and every day, wanting to live life at fullest.
    One of the biggest changes was in women. Not only did fashions change for women but they finally acquired the right to vote. This would be the first time women would have the opportunity to experience many new things…. I could say I love everything about this decade except the end of it, when the Great Depression began, starvation, jobless men and women and banks and stores closing all over. Shame that a decade that started as a rebirth, so promising, so liberating, ended in a devastating disaster.
    Lovely hat, nice giveaway.

    I love the fashion changes in the 1920's! The clothes became looser (corsets weren't required), and the hair and hat styles were so cute 🙂
