Lavender ~ 5 to 10 Year Old Ribbed Beanie Pattern

I’ve finally gotten around to posting photos of my new beanie! This one was so much fun to make, and create! Lately I’ve been completely obsessed with using a front post double crochet in my projects.

You can find the pattern HERE!
I was lucky enough to coax me little sister into modelling for me! She is such a little sweetheart, and looks absolutely adorable in her new beanie! In the last year she’s received a bunch crochet gifts from yours truly!
I decided to use 2 colours on this beanie to really bring out all the different textures it has in it. The ribbed detail also makes it unique as well as offering the proper fit so the beanie won’t slide off of the little ones head.
I hope you’re all busy enjoying a great day!

This is adorable (and so is your sister!) I too have been making projects using FPDC and BPDC. I just learned how to do the stitches and now I am in love with them! Do you have any other patterns that use these stitches?

She is my little sister 🙂 There's an age difference of 10yrs between us, but despite that we're very close!… She sometimes even calls me "Mummy Number 2" haha
