The earth delights at the welcome of spring and new growth. As warmer weather gently wanders in, there’s just enough time to escape the freezing outside, and enjoy a comfy inside, snuggled in a cosy blanket as your fingers work busily on a new crochet project.
Heartwarming and encouraging, it’s always such a lovely surprise to see one of my designs featured on the cover of “I Like Crochet“, this time being the fresh and fruity Grapefruit Sorbet Shrug (pictured above)! I’m particularly excited about this issue, as a handful of my other designs were featured as well. If you’re interested to see what I’ve been working on recently, stick around as I’ll be going into the inspiration behind every single, stylish piece that made it’s way into this publication.
With it’s quirky, vintage granny square design, the Grapefruit Sorbet Shrug will leave you dreaming of retro tunes playfully dancing on the early morning breeze. It won’t be long before you’re eager to start planning delightful spring brunches full of fun, fruity drinks and colorful music!
As delicately formed snowflakes lightly dance across the sky this winter, envelope yourself in the warmth of the Blue Sage Hooded Shawl, the perfect blend of cosiness and sophistication.
Effortless and roomy, this oversized wrap brings a touch of contemporary elegance to any ensemble, whilst the frost-like design conjures up fond memories of weekend trips to your local frozen pond for hours of ice skating fun – Making the enveloping size and triangle shape the perfect light layer for the season!
The lightweight and oversized qualities make it ideal for everyday wear, while the simple and striking stitch combinations keep it looking chic and sophisticated. Super soft and cosy due to MillaMia’s Naturally Soft Aran, the hood easily slips over the head and acts as a poncho, wrap, and hood all in one. A harmonious one piece wonder that will keep you warm for many winters to come!
For special occasions when your little one might need to play smart, the delightfully sweet Frosted Bluebell Cloche Hat & Dress ensemble is your answer! From its picoted hemline to it’s small pocket to keep tiny hands warm, this dress makes for a charming and winsome winter outfit, suitable for all ages. The swishy peplum shape is created by subtle increases in the skirt, just what daring young ladies need for twirling!
Perfect for a frosty stroll through the park, this is a gorgeous outfit, and relaxed way for your little darling to dress up every day as she skips through lanes of snow-tipped trees!

What a beautiful set of designs. I am a subscriber so will print these today. Thank you so much for thinking about our little princesses. Can I ask if you can think about slightly older little girls (2-3 years)?
