Currently I’m in the process of designing a few new projects, and one of the stitches I’ve been using recently is the Lemon Peel Stitch. It’s a fairly simple stitch to learn and follow, but never ceases to work up into a lovely design!

The Lemon Peel Stitch creates a sturdy crocheted fabric and beautiful texture, which I’m sure is why you’ll be eager to use this stitch when crocheting cosy blankets and cute scarves!

If you’re excited to learn how to crochet the “Lemon Peel Stitch“, this helpful video will guide you through all the steps (in an easy to follow speed) as you continue on your ever-growing crochet journey!

Are there any other crochet stitches or techniques you’d love to learn?
I’m always open to new ideas and inspiration when it comes to
sharing crochet with the world!

Love that Cardigan! and I would SO love to enter that Giveaway! But, for some reason, even though I've updated the Shockwave Flash to enable it, the Rafflecopter does NOT open on my computer!
So I am basically "shut out" of all Rafflecopter Giveaways! And this one I would love to enter….have wanted to try that Wool and the Gang yarn – and particularly the cotton, for so long!
So I'll have to keep dreaming for a while – and maybe Santa will help out in the near future.
Thanks for all your inspiration! I just love visiting your site. so many pretty things you make – and patterns you have available! Thank you!

An important detail to note: starting with row 2, you must stitch through BOTH loops of row 1, otherwise you're left with a line of stitches that interrupts the pattern.

    Hi Olivia,
    Lovely tutorial!
I would like to know which stitch you end the first row of the pattern on — single crochet or double crochet?
And does every row start and end with the same stitch?
Thanks for your help and kindest regards,
    Cheryl
