I really enjoy not only learning new stitches, but also figuring out ways to combine different stitches together to create a unique and textured design… That is exactly what the Post and Shells Stitch is, a combination of shells and front post double crochets!
This stitch looks great when featured in most crochet projects, such as hats, scarves and (especially) blankets!

If you’d like to learn how to crochet the “Post and Shells Stitch“, this helpful video will guide you through all the steps as you continue on your ever-growing crochet journey!

What are some other crochet stitches or techniques you’d like to learn?
I’m always open to new ideas and inspiration when it comes to sharing crochet with the world!

I was wondering if there is someplace you may have a written pattern to learn the stitches above and any others ? I am unable to access a computer very often.

Just wondering if you have a written pattern for this stitch in addition to the video. Some, like myself, prefer to read the pattern. I'm assuming that you used British (UK) terms when doing this? Since I'm in US, I'd need to convert…but from sound of stitches, what you called a 'single crochet' with you, pull through two loops twice, in US terms that's s double crochet.
If you don't have written pattern, I can get transcript of video and work from there…it's a beautiful stitch pattern – that I know I can use in the future!
I, for one, would like to thank you for taking the time to do this video….From comment above, I'm guessing I'm not the only one to ask for a written pattern. But still DO appreciate your sharing of your knowledge and technique. Because of generous 'hookers' like you and a few others, those of us with far less experience are able to learn more and widen our own experience with crochet technique. THANK YOU!
