One of the many reasons I love the Spike Stitch is how versatile a stitch it is, meaning you can creating a variety of different textures and designs using this simple technique!

This stitch looks great when featured in most crochet projects, such as hats, scarves and (especially) blankets!

  2. can I do longer rows like for a blanket? Would I be able to use any type of yarn?

    1. It looks like it goes in multiple's of 6. If you need to increase try adding 6 at a time to see if that will work. I haven't watched the video yet, so I'm not 100% positive.
