One of the many reasons I love the Spike Stitch is how versatile a stitch it is, meaning you can creating a variety of different textures and designs using this simple technique!
This stitch looks great when featured in most crochet projects, such as hats, scarves and (especially) blankets!
If you’d like to learn how to crochet the “Spike Stitch“, this helpful video will guide you through all the steps as you continue on your ever-growing crochet journey!

    can I do longer rows like for a blanket? Would I be able to use any type of yarn?

      It looks like it goes in multiple's of 6. If you need to increase try adding 6 at a time to see if that will work. I haven't watched the video yet, so I'm not 100% positive.

    I love the spike pattern, please send me a pattern so I can make a regular blanket, I love that you have six spikes more than any others I’ve seen. I want to start with the right amount of rows to work with the pattern you have. Thank you.
