Autumn Forest Scarf Free Crochet Pattern + Bonita Yarns Review

Ever since a few weeks ago when I was gifted 6 lovely skeins of wool from Bonita Patterns & Yarns I've been excitedly working on this autumnal scarf in every single spare moment I could find!

This Kaleidoscopic wool has quickly become a new favourite of mine!
In terms of the wool's overall softness, I was actually surprised by just how luxurious and smooth it was for a wool! I'm also a big fan of the fact that the colour changes in the yarn aren't extremely harsh (and unflattering) lines, but blend quite harmoniously, resulting in a very pleasant and consistent pattern.

The wool also just glides across my hook so easily, that even though it's a lighter weight wool, it worked up fairly quickly into a project!
Not to mention, that me being a lover of more autumnal/muted colours (As you've probably noticed in many of my other patterns such as my chunky ribbed scarf or my cottontail scarf), I loved the fact that even though this Kaleidoscopic wool created a rainbow design, it wasn't too distracting, but still added a fun pop of colour to my outfit when the scarf was completed!

If you'd like to try out using this wool, you can find it on the Bonita website, which is not only chock-full of stunning yarns such as this one, but also creative and unique crochet patterns!
Or, (if you're feeling lucky) enter this fun giveaway for a chance to win some Kaleidoscopic yarn and patterns!

  2. Beautiful! I love the colors and how it is attached with buttons. I'm always amazed by this kind of stripes created by one single wool skein.

My favorite yarn to use is super bulky, and super soft. I like yarn that you can just sink you face into and going to a different world. Right now my favorite bulky yarn would have to be Vesper Super Soft Baby Dk yarn.
