Baby Pom Pom Hat Crochet Pattern

Babies are adorable!... Enough said.
For example, I love how their chubby cheeks are always so warm, and perfectly kissable. Another thing I love is when they wrap their teeny tiny fingers around one of yours, and refuse to let go.
One of my very special friends is actually expecting her first little bundle of joy, so in an effort to surprise her, I thought I'd create this cute little baby pom pom hat!
Hope you all enjoy the pattern!

Then Single Crochet all along the edge of your hat. Slip Stitch into the first single crochet.
Fasten off, and weave in loose ends.

 ~ Braided Tassels & Pom Pom ~

Taking your apple green yarn, cut 6 strands of yarn, each 25 inches long. Then make a simple knot into the bottom of the left ear-flap. Make a loose braid as short or long as you like, (Mine was 8 inches) then tie a knot at the end, and cut of any excess yarn.
Repeat for the right ear-flap.
Then make a Pom Pom using your apple green yarn. I used a pom pom maker, but if you don't have one you can easily make one using THIS video tutorial.
Using your tapestry/wool needle, attach your pom pom to the very top of your hat.
Fasten off, and weave in loose ends.

Hope you all enjoyed this pattern!
