Fairytale ~ Cute & Easy Summer Updo Tutorial

We've all been little girls who dressed up, watched Disney movies and dreamed of our own prince charming. We wanted to live a fairytale! True life probably turned out a lot different to our childhood dreams, but despite that I still like dressing up and becoming a princess!
I adore hairstyles and so whenever I see something that looks vintage, girly or like a princess I 'attempt' to get my hair to look like that! I saw a photo a few months ago, and the hairstyle in it inspired me, and since then I've worn this hairstyle quite a bit!

Step 1~ Start by separating your bangs (If you have them) from the rest of your hair. Then style them whichever way you like and pin out of the way. I used a curling iron on my bangs.
Step 2~ Tease the crown of your head a bit, this will add some volume.
Step 3~ Then all you have to do is put the headband on top of your hair (while your hair is down) and then grab the rest of your hair at the back and tuck it into the headband. The messier the better!
Step 4~ Unpin your bangs. Now how simple was that!

I actually found a video explaining how to do this the other day, might help you all understand what I mean more.

And you're done! I hope you all enjoyed that hair tutorial, if you have any questions, comment away!
If you did create this look, please post a photo of your new hairdo onto my Facebook Page,
I'd love to see it! Please Subscribe to my blog, it would really make my day!
Have a great day!

  6. Well as long as you use a thin hair band, close to your hair colour I think it would look really pretty!! Xx
