Dainty Princess ~ DIY Beaded Hair Comb

I am in love with all things floral, dainty and vintage! Just looking at my bedroom you'd probably think I was slightly obsessed with such things... and I guess I am! People are always telling me I should have been born a couple of hundred years ago. Probably the reason why I love pride and prejudice and little women. so much :) So I was inspired yesterday by all things dainty. I decided to make something pretty.
So this is what I ended up making!!

What You'll Need:
Mixture of 20 different sizes and types of pearls
2 or 3 Clear glass beads
Hair Comb
24 gauge silver wire
I also used a flower, to add that little bit of extra charm!
Wire Cutters
Chain Nose Pliers
(I also used a Beading Mat)

Step One ~ I started by cutting 40cm of 24 gauge wire. Then I wrapped it 3 times around the start of the silver comb.

Step Two ~ Then I threaded on pearl, and then wrapped it around the comb through one of the spaces. In some of the places that it looked slightly empty, I wrapped another pearl or clear glass bead in the same space again.

Step Three ~ When I got to the end I just wrapped the wire around the end a few times, and used to wire cutters to cut of the extra wire.

And you're done! I hope you all enjoyed that tutorial, if you have any questions, comment away!

  3. Overdoing it with sprays, gels and mousses can cause product build-up and lead to badly behaving hair. This is particularly the case if you use cheaper products which contain more processed and unnatural ingredients.
